Vedran Jelic (Shodan)
Vedran began Uechi Ryu at Northern River Karate School in February 2001. “I was just looking for some physical activity at the time”. Although now Vedran says his work has much more depth to it and isn’t just about fitness. “This is a practice you have to master outside the dojo, because so many of the lessons deal with one's character."Currently Vedran is attending the University of Alberta for a degree in Engineering Physics. He enjoys camping, hiking, weightlifting, and playing video games with friends.
