ENRKSA

All Northern River Karate School students are members of the Edmonton Northern River Karate School Association (ENRKSA). Your student fees are association membership fees and you are eligible to take part in all the association’s activities.

The first few minutes of one class a year, usually in April, is the association Annual General Meeting (AGM) when the board reports to the membership and new board members are elected.

All voting (adult) members in good standing are eligible to serve on the board, and this can be an enjoyable way to be involved in the support and betterment of the school and in the community service activities the board supports.

If you have any ideas, comments or concerns do not hesitate to contact Ken or the ENRKSA Board.

"Between birth and death,
Three in ten are followers of life,
Three in ten are followers of death,
And people just passing from birth to death also number three in ten.

Why is this so?
Because they live their lives on the gross level.

He who knows how to live can walk abroad
Without fear of rhinoceros or tiger.
He will not be wounded in battle.
For in him rhinoceroses can find no place to thrust their horn,
Tigers no place to use their claws,
And weapons no place to pierce.

Why is this so?
Because he has no place for death to enter."

Lao Tsu
